Just thought I'd mention that I've just bought a used fender '59 bassman reissue. Made in '95 and has the blue frame eminence speakers. I pick it up tomorrow. I am very excited.
I have only G harmonica, can I still effectively go through all the lessons on Level 1? Or which key would you recommend to get to take most out of this course?
Just got my custom wood mic from Greg Heumann (BlowsMeAway). Just tremendous to have something this beautiful that is also so functional. Stunning. I can't think of anything I've ever owned that matches the craftsmanship. The tone is fantastic -- first word that comes to mind is SMOOTH.
My wife won't let me replace the Japanese vase in the front window with it, so will just keep it plugged into the amp at all times.

I was all set to buy a Laney Cub 10 having looked at David's reviews only to then discover that they don't make them anymore. I then had a look at the VHT Special 6 but these are not widely available in the UK. Moving away from genuine tube amps I was wondering if anyone has used a Roland Blues Cube? They seem to be well reviewed by guitarists.
