this last week i recieved the wezo 45 2010

looks great and sounds good

i was dissapointed at first because i couldnt get the the volume past three

i called dale and he told me the pad works for feedback when closer to zero instead of 10

now the volume can get to 5 in my small apartment

i hope to turn the volume higher in a larger place

before i learned about the pad, i tried the lone wolf blues harp shield and voodoo lab feedback killer

i tried the sheild first and the voodo lab second in the chain

            then i reversed it

i decided to plug the mic into the sheid and then voodlab second in the chain

however, i did not find that using these both together and used separately, made a huge difference in how far i could turn up the volume

                                                                                                                                                                    knob

it might make a slight difference in tone, so later i will find someone whose ear is developed to help with a final decision

i am aware that having a mic go directly into the amp is best, and not have any pedals

i also orderded a sonic pipe windy city amp because of david's recommendation

i asked thomas to add an XLR out and also to have two 1/4 line outs as well

i asked him to install a vintage speaker and NOS vintage preamp tubes

thankfully thomas was paient with me and agreed

so in a couple of weeks, or month i look forward to a great modern small amp

and i asked dennis oellig to send a 1950's supro 15 watt, it should be here in a couple of weeks

i am so happy to have the wezo 45 that david owned, i know it is the best of megatone amps for me

now  i can deal with the volume of the other players, and if still not enough, i can use the line out

it is an answered prayer: months ago i asked in a post " which is the best megatone"

forgive me if you reply and i havent checked the forum, often it seems a lot of time passes between when i post and later review

best to all

sonic pipe/windy city

i recieved the windy city amp

it has a vintage clone speaker

sounds great

i am going to find some nos tubes

i will use a volume control adapter between the line out and a large 4x10 amp, the little amp will be the tone driver to the larger amp

              used for volume
