I have played special 20s.  I'd love to hear your comparisons of the Crossover, Rocket AMP amd Special 20 in playability, bendability, tone, fit for blues, durability, ease of maintainance or any other thoughts or comparisons you have?

Hi,

I have a Hohner Bluesblaster mic that one day just died on me. No I did not drop it. I brought it to an electronic shop and was told the element was dead. What is a good replacement element and where is it available?

Thank you.

Ricardo

Discoloration of Acrylic combs

Hi,

I have white acrylic combs on my Seydel Silvers but have noticed it discolored to yellowish. Yes, I do clean my harps and even soak them in water since they have stainless steel reeds. I tongue block so I'm thinking it might be my saliva? What seems to be the cause and what is the remedy besides changing the combs. At this point in time I don't think it is wise for me to buy extra combs.

Thank you.

Ricardo

Hello everybody. I have downloaded the Blue Dadi Software but I have some problems.

I can't play over a jam track that I select, when I try, the jam track always stop after a couple of seconds.

The track that is already in the program works, the others not.

I can not even register over the track by the same problem.

Can someone help me please?

Where is my mistake?

Thank you.

Hi all,

I have recently had my fender blues jnr modded for harp. I was wondering whether it is worth changing the standard fender speaker to a jensen p10r.

Hello Harp Techs,

My second “harmonica” microphone, after the Astatic JT30-c that I bought from Quement Electronics in 1973 was (still is,‘cause I still have them both;o), a Shure PE54 with pistol grip (and switch). Essentially the same as the Shure 545, except my PE54 was set up for Hi-Z. Over the years I migrated to the Shure 57, then to Greg’s Ultra57. continue reading...
