I'm a beginner with no musical background or ability and have progressed heaps on counting through a 12 bar blues, timing, tapping my heel. But i am struggling on really working out the chords by listening to a backing track. Some I can pick up and there is one at the moment where i know what chord I'm in by counting and I still cannot differentiate between a IV chord and a V chord. Also unless I have the backing track really loud whilst playing the harmonica, I cannot hear it.??? continue reading...

I'm working on LOA 3. In Solo Study 2 ex. 1.8, I'm struggling with measure 10. Is there a typo on the 123 draw pulls? It sounds off to my ear. Is it supposed to be 123 blow pulls throughout the measure like in example 1.7?
I was woundering are there any goofy footers out there . Is it ok to hold Harmonicia w your right hand . It is the hand i used when i first started messing around , and I am struggling w tounge blocking and switched back to right hand hold and it seemed easier ? Thanks Larry
I have a question about nose breathing. You say that nose should be closed (also Winslow Yerxa teaches that way), but Joe Filisko says that we can exhale through the harmonica (his "nose push" tip). Can You help somthing about it?
