Welcome to the site kouqin.

Welcome to the site kouqin. There is an intro lesson for those with only the C Harmonica, and it's found here http://www.bluesharmonica.com/lessons/c_harmonica_intro_lesson. After this lesson, if you decide to continue, you'll need to pick up an A Harmonica (this C Harmonica study will keep you busy for 2-3 months, so there's no hurry). Best wishes on your studies.

Can you add subtitle?

Thanks a lot. I've bought two other keys: A and D, so that I can begine with the A Harnomoca and visit your lessons two month longer. I'm a Chinese and live in Germay. I don't speak English very well and cannot understand you completly. Especially I have difficulties for musical terms. Can you add subtitle in videos?

Hello kouqin, welcome to the

Hello kouqin, welcome to the site. Unfortunately, we're not able to offer subtitles. We did look into it, but the cost was very high to do so. I hope that you'll be able to make use of the site. Best wishes on your studies.

Complete list of Harmonicas used in this course.

Is there a complete list of harmonicas used in this course so that I can get them?  I bought a C because most of the information I could find on the internet recommended a C harmonica for beginners.  Then I get here and it starts with an A.  Can I just get a complete list so that I'm not surprised in later lessons?

Hello Eric, welcome to the

Hello Eric, welcome to the site. Those two harmonicas will take care of you for your first three levels (about 9 months of study). After that you will use G, D, and Bb in the intermediate lessons and then Low-F in the advanced lessons. Best wishes on your studies.

Android now has subtitles for free, kind of

The newer versions of Android (version 10 and above) have something called Live Caption. See https://support.google.com/accessibility/android/answer/9350862?hl=en

If you have a compatible Android device (Google Pixel 2 and above, also some Samsung phones) you can enable Live Caption and the phone will generate the captions for you. It's not 100% accurate and it will oftentimes be confusing, but it can help you understand a bit more. Of course it depends on you having a compatible device, but if you do have one you can give it a try. I frequently use it to watch videos in silent mode (not David's ones, but others in the web, news etc.) and it's generally ok to understand a lot of what's going on.
