Got C Harmonica instead of A? Any thoughts

Hello everyone!

I just bought a new Harmonica with C, it's a Hohner Special 20. I am very new to playing Harmonica.

I just bought the C Harmonica, but the beginner video said that A should be used. What should I do now? Is it not useful?

Thank you in advance!

Hi. David, do you have a transcription of whammer jammer to send me? I decided to start learning this classic and a tablature would help me a lot.

Nose breathing

Hi, David.

I have a question about nose breathing. You say that nose should be closed (also Winslow Yerxa teaches that way), but Joe Filisko says that we can exhale through the harmonica (his "nose push" tip). Can You help somthing about it?

Greetings from Poland.

Gabriel

PS. Sorry for gramattic :-)

VHT Modifications?

Hi Dave,

In your review of the VHT Special 6 you mentioned that you bought one and intended to explore modifications to make it a more harp specific amp. Did you make any mods that an average "joe ten-holer" like myself could pull off?

Apologies if you've posted this info and I just didn't find it.

Thanks!!

Tremolo on bent notes

Posted Thu, 03/25/2021 - 00:10 by sbw

Hi David

I am getting on ok with my draw bending and have made some progress with blow bending holes 7, 8 and 9 but I am really struggling to use tremolo on any bent note. Do you have any tips on how I can do this? My draw tremolo on unbent notes is coming on reasonably but I am a bit stuck when it comes to the bent ones.

Thanks in advance

Simon
