hi david

this is tommy

i have noticed a reed is out of tune and and flat

i do not wish to try and reshape it back into tune

it is an Osker harp, i am familiar with replacing the whole reed plate, or repace the whole harp

is it possible that someone can replace the one bad reed?

if yes, could you refer me?

thanks

Hello Tommy. Yes, you can

Hello Tommy. Yes, you can replace a reed. Here is the lesson https://www.bluesharmonica.com/harp_tech_study_5_reed_replacement After watching this you'll want to go back to the prior videos in the series to find out what tools you'll need and how to set the reed gap and tune it (you'll do this after setting the reed onto the reed plate).

Good day, Tommy:

Unfortunately, Lee Oscar only stocks reed plates.

So, unless you have a "donor" reed from another harmonica, replacing the reed plate is the only option.

Reed plates go for $25.99 each (free shipping) from Rockin Ron's Harmonica (less than a new harp).

If you are looking for a technican to work on your harp(s), I recommend you contact Lee Oscar direct..

Good luck,
