My Grandfather gave me a Hohner Chromonica back in the 80's. I've had it 30 years now, but is there a way to tell when it was made? I'm just curious about when he might have gotten it.

Before I've allways played crossovers but I wanted to compare them...On my crossovers I've done all the work myself reed shaping, gapping, embossing and fitting a custom comb on them. Kim Wilson turned Rick Estrin onto this, who told me about it a few weeks ago. They both swear by it. This $116 pedal really is a miracle. It takes any crappy or mediocre mic/amp combo and makes it sound like solid gold. Don't ask me how. Like Kim and Rick, I can't put my finger on it, it just does something to your tone that makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Had to hear it to believe it myslef. I'm in LOVE.
