Blues Blaster mic not available?

I was just window shopping for a Blues Blaster as a starter mic for a beginner, but kept finding 'no longer available' on Amazon etc.

Is this right or have I just been unlucky in my choice of websites?

Also what would anyone suggest as an alternative starter mic for the uninitiated.
