I have been watching Davids very good review process of Amps and decided the Fender Champion 20 was exactly what I wanted. Having Davids favourably comment on it convinced me to go ahead. The review of mics used also convinced me to go for the Bulletini VC. I am very pleased with the resulting combo. Great sound perfect for my needs. Thanks David. The Bulletini of course will be used with additional amps In the future. What a great mic fits so well on the hand you don't even know its there. Greg of Blowsmeaway must be congratulated on the quality of the product and wonderful sound. continue reading...
I'd like to know what ya'll recommend for settings on a Roland MicroCube Amp. I've got a Green Bullet Mic but also just purchased a Shaker MadCat Mic. I know very little about amplifiers and amp settings. When I record through the amp it sounds OK for the most part but sounds really "distorted" with heavy tongue flutters and shakes.

Im nearing the end of the beginner phase. Ive played the heck out of A harp and open it clean it now and then. I see the reeds and frame showing corrosion and discoloration. Any tips on how to clearn the guts of the harp? At some point should I just get a new one? It still plays fine.
I play as a hobby on my own, so while I'd like an amp, I don't want to spend a lot of money. I've been keeping an eye out for used amps at music stores and antique shops, but I'm not 100% sure what qualities I should be looking for.
In general, my rule of thumb that I read somewhere has been: a tube amp with single-didgit watts and single-didgit inch measurement for the speaker cone. So a five-watt tube amp with an 8-inch speaker, for example.
Does anybody have thoughts about those criteria, or other qualities I should keep in mind when looking around?
Just received my new custom harp case from Bushman Music. The case is beautiful! Wasn't too pleased with the customer service experience, but well worth the money.
I'm looking to get my first mic for my harmonica. I'm considering getting a bulletini as that company was mentioned in the modern harmonica mic video.
I've got a late 80's fender tube twin amp that i use for guitar. Its way bigger than I need for my home harmonica playing but I allreayd have it so figure I'll just use it.
Would this set-up work out ok? Any other recomendatiosn considerign the amp i'll be playing through?
