I need to improve my ability to TB individual holes accurately.  Moving from a 4 draw to a 7 draw (for example) I still often miss the hole slightly or even find 6 instead of 7.

Harp Ninja seems like it might be a useful practice aid.

Have you guys used it in that way and what do you think is its value?  How have you used it?

Thanks

gary

For sure

I use it on a daily basis while practing.  I mostly use it to make sure I am hitting my bends correctly.  It is totaly worth it.  The note you are playing lights up so you can see exatly what you are doing and can make little adjustments if needed.

Its also good for chormatic and low keyed harps.

I agree - the harpninja is

I agree - the harpninja is very useful in many ways. My main usage at this point is to find all the accurate bends on holes 1-6. I just realized the other day you can record yourself on it and listen back as the notes light up that you have played.

harpninja for practice

I am currently working on the study song "half-steppin'" which, as the name suggests includes all of the half-step draw bends. I always use harpninja to check the accuracy of my bends. Tha amazing slow downer is another useful tool for practice. As well as allowing you to slow down a song you can also use it to play a section in a repeating loop so you can listen to a small section a few times before attempting to play it

If you have a google phone

If you have a google phone you can try the 'harmonica tuner' app that also detects bends and is completly free.
