Ok so these are the softwares that work on windows and you can use in place of Harpninja, Amazing Slowdowner and a metronome. All are free to use, so there you go!

1) Bendometer

http://www.harpsoft.com/install.html

It pops up a "Register" window every few seconds, when it pops up just press Ctrl+ Alt+ Delete --> Task Manager --> Application --> Right click on "Register Bendometer" --> Click "Minimize". You're good to go!

2) PracticeSharp

https://code.google.com/archive/p/practicesharp/downloads

It slows down music, allows looping can even change pitch on one touch.

3) TempoPerfect

http://www.nch.com.au/metronome/index.html

Simple metronome with all the things you can want from it. Color coding, customised breaks etc!

I found Bendometer better

I found Bendometer better than HarpNinja. Both aren't very well made, specially considering the high cost, but harpninja seems worse. It doesn't even save the last harp you used (have to change tabs and manually set A harp everytime) and it also doesnt let you resize the window, but just to pick a few pre-fixed size options when you open the app. Almost designed for DOS OS (the one mostly used before first Windows, for the young).

Unfortuanlly, I sent the money to register Bendometer and its been 3 days and the code still doesn't work. Maybe it never will, so we wouldn't have options other than HarpNinja. The unregistered option of Bendometer isn't really usable for long, you have to close the popup about every minute, way too troublesome.

There is a free one for android called Harmonica Turner or something like this, but it didn't work very well for me (the mic gets very low signal from the harp and many times doesn't show the hole played), besides the small screen of the phone for this task. But, beeing free, I think its worth a test for others. I've even tried using it on an Android emulater on Windows (used NOX and Memo), but the low signal didn't change, so it seems to be more a problema of the app than of my cel's mic.

I will update here if I get the registration code working on Bendometer.

PraticeSharp seems perfect and very well made, and totally free. I didn't try amazing slowdowner, but I can't see how it could be significantly better.

I didn't like the metronome app suggested here and it install some extra stuff on the site. But i does work and I didn't find a better one for Windows (there are several for android if you need, but for metronome the small screen isn't a issue).

Sorry for my english and let me know if I can clarify anything.

guys if you don't like harp

guys if you don't like harp ninja try 'harmonica tuner' on google play. It's free and it does exactly what harpninja does plus it recognizes chords.

I dislike HarpNinja. The

I dislike HarpNinja. The mobile app version I have is slow and it lags, despite me having the latest and greatest mobile device. It shows the pitches with noticeable delay. Sometimes I swear I sit on the same pitch, but HarpNinja jumps around like crazy. It is slow and I don't trust it.

"Harmonica tuner" mobile app has the same fault.

Bend-o-menter is much better in that regards. At least the desktop version.

Amazing Slow Downer, on the other hand, is just amazing. The best $25 I ever spent. I use it daily and cannot imagine my music practice without it.

Bendometer

@Amamos

I expierienced similar problems initially using Bendometer. I contacted the owner directly and finally managed to get the program running smoothly.

I can say I'm satisfied with Bendometer.

Good luck.
