I was wondering whether this kind of solo playing is generally adapted to play with just another acoustic guitar doing a basic two notes chords accompaniment.
We've tried with example 1.5 and it works really great.
I'm wondering what I'm going to try next and I was looking at the baseline examples. continue reading...

Hello David. Please, I have a question, if you allways play whith the method tongue blocking, even if you are bending two or three steps on the third hole? I want to decide in the begining, whitch method to learn (tongue blocking or pursing), and the tongue blocking is better for me to play a single note, bot I dont know, if I can later use this method for technics like bending, as well as with pursing. Thank you.
P.S. your website is great and I really like, how you explain and show the way how to do something
I have been working my way through the C Harmonica intro lesson and in section 2 there is a video learning Home Sweet Home, but I cannot find the tabs for it. It's not with the other resources at the top of the lesson.
Is there piano and guitar sheet music available for "I Want You with Me"? I've been playing with a couple of friends and would like to get them the music if possible.
I bought a D harmonica because the music store clerk told me it's the most common. He then told me it comes with free lessons. I punched in the code for the free lessons, and the first lesson says to use the A harmonica. Why is the code for lessons on the D harmonica if we're supposed to use the A harmonica? In other words, can I follow through the lessons with the D harmonica, or will it not work? The 30-day lesson trial will expire before I get the chance to get a different instrument.
New student with a question on Lesson 1 - Solo Harmonica Study 1, Example 1.4.
On the last chord where holes 1 and 2 are drawn, Is it ok to use my tongue to block the three hole or should I just move the harp to the left and not use the tongue. I've done both, but didn't want to create a early bad habit if one is preferred for reasons I don't know yet.
I've been really impressed with your teaching style.
I've been working on"Used To Be My Baby" for a couple of months now, I'm getting there with it but still at just over 50% slow as it has been challenging in places. I'm at the stage where I'm playing to the jam track, which really helps me to tune into the other instruments regarding keeping time.
There are a couple areas where I keep tripping up, typically chorus at 1:37 and the harp solo. I have spent a lot of sessions focussing on these areas individually. continue reading...
