working on Feeling for the Bluse study song Level 3 . I remember you saying that the default way to play a single note is with a Slap, Is this noteated on the PDF with a circle above the note .
First of all, let me tell you how well designed your course is. I'm really enjoying it.
Btw, I started playing harmonica when I joined here but as a guitarist I've always liked technical works and I think that doing that kind exercises always pays off. That's why i'm doing a lot of work on movement exercises pattern ex 1, 2 and i'm going to do the diatonic exs starting from the 4th hole (still figuring out how to bend obviously). continue reading...
Im hoping you can guide me to a lesson on tongue switching. I'm a new learner and have started Solo Study Ex 1.10 but I'm having trouble with the tongue switch on the first 2 notes.
I am wondering how to slap the 3' that starts chorus 3 in My Blues (great study song!). I can dip it and stop at 3', but it seems I first need to "take a reference" by touching the harmonica.
Should I be able to "blindly" take the right position (3"), then slap without losing it? If I could do that, I suppose I could flutter a bent note? Is that the right exercise to aim for?
Bar 5 is 2+2+ then slide 2+3+2+3+ then move to 6th bar which is 2+ held note tremolo. But when I hear you playing I hear 2 notes in bar 6. There are 3 notes on the staff. I guess it's a tie. Please could you explain. Thank you.
