Hello Harmonicats,
I found a wireless solution for those of you who enjoy bullet mic type playing, but feel restricted with cables.
Line 6 known for it's modeling amp technology, recently released their line of wireless (guitar) system. The Relay G30 and G50 are in stomp pedal form factors, and the G90 is rack mountable -- the higher the series number, the farther the wireless range. continue reading...
It's the BOSS eBand JS-8 Audio Player. It's got a lot of the same functions as the Amazing Slow Downer and the Tascam trainers, but it adds a lot of things like backing tracks for all styles of music, recording, guitar pedal effects, and auto-loop functions to make your own backing riffs on the fly.
I have a Tascam CD guitar trainer, but I was thinking about this thing as everything nowadays is in Mp3 anyway.
Here's a quick tip for you. If you use a pedal (such as reverb or delay) that can run on a battery (which almost all of them can)... don't rely on it! ALWAYS use the adapter (that you have to purchase separately sometimes) for the pedal.

Trying to quickly set up at our jam session means setting up as quickly as possible for a 20 - 25 minute set. THis is the only time I get to play with others and try out different things - both technique and equipment wise. I have 3 pedals - delay. tone + (Lone Wolf) and a Kinder AFB+. continue reading...
Seydel has come out with a new 1847. It's called the Noble... stainless steel reeds, aluminum comb, side vented covers. You can order the covers only... under spare parts for the Noble. I've ordered some covers with vents to go on my wood combed 1847 Classics. I like harmonicas with side vents. What are your opinions about vents?
Fritz Hasenpusch, the Harp Mic Man, will be in to video record an interview and some lesson videos this weekend. If any of you have microphone questions let me know!
Has anyone heard of or used the services of UK customiser, Antony Dannecker? I've bought a few harps from him and found them to be excellent. If you are into the Hohner MS series, Crossharps, Meisterklasse, etc then you might want to have a look at Antony. continue reading...
