Big News from BlowsMeAway - We're Goin' Wireless!

With a few limited exceptions, up until now BlowsMeAway Productions has only sold products that I make. However my customers frequently ask about wireless systems. There are no wireless systems specifically for harp, and information about adapting existing systems is virtually nonexistent. Some systems work well. Others don't. I decided somebody needed to address this problem. continue reading...

Turner S22X

Anyone have any opinions on this mic. I have an opportunity to buy one for $100.00. I looked up some info on it, and from the pic the seller emailed me, it looks like like it might be a dynamic element.

I have a green bullet circa 1998. Is this just going to sound like a Shure GB anyway?

I am going to go play it tomorrow and compare it, but I just wanted to see if you anyone had any thoughts. I posted this over in Fritz's forum also, but i wanted to see if anyone that does not cruise that forum had some thoughts.

Leather or other material cases

Does anyone have any suggestions on a leather case for harps? I have used the soft cases, with no luck. I need something that can take a bit of wear and tear and I will use it often. I remember cumberland cases awhile back, but I think they quit making them. Something along those lines would be ideal. Anyone have any suggestions? I have hard cases (metal/plastic), this would be something I can put my higher end harps in.

I heard that with a valved harmonica you can bend all the notes,Would that allow it to be played chromtically,if a person was not OB yet?Whats are some of the pro's and con;s of the valved harmonicas, such as longivity, ease of use,I havent decided to get 1 or not but I am curious about the chromatic use of 1.
