i have just recieved my first full custom harp its in the key of g and is absolutely fantastic i have been playing for a couple of years off and on but never really serious i am one of the fortunate few that could tb bend from the start although i started playing pucker style and have visited richard sleigh at his shop to learn some customizing myself in my opinion this custom is by far the best thing i have played it was customized by richard and is a full custom set up for overblows and all so i would recomend his harps to anyone altough with most customizers you may have a wait period and also you must have a very relaxed embouchure to paly a full custom especially on the 3 draw to keep from getting the half step bend

Me too!!

Different customizers but in my experience . I went whole hog after I was at it for almost a year. It certainly helped me get onto bends quicker - still took a lot of work (and still does) but I find now I can go back to the OOTB harps and I can make it work now I know how to get those notes. In a lot of cases, I'm also finding the customs are much more sensitive/touchy especially at the 3 hole draw.

And that Jon Harl is no slouch when it comes to customizing!!! No affiliation, just a happy satisfied customer!
