Good day to everyone, my name is Santiago, i just bought a hohner golden melody and i love how it sounds, also i am a beginner and i am afraid of ''breaking'' it for not doing a good job while i play, i have heard that it can happen if u don't make good bends and things like that, and right now i am afraid of even touching it since i cant afford buying harmonicas every month.
I know that the harmonicas don't have a long life as many other instruments, but you know what i mean, i don't want to buy a new harmonica every 1 or 2 months. continue reading...
For years i have been using the same EV605 shell, fitted with a 99B86 CM. I just obtained a JT30 with a 99H86 CM, and have been comparing the 2.
the element in the EV is definitely 'hotter'; by which i mean louder, more prone to feedback, bigger bottom, which tends to overwhelm the mids, distorts more readily. the JT30 is much sweeter, more musical.
Elements vary. I've heard it said often, so there is no surprise there. continue reading...
New app for iPad, iPhone and iPod. It does everything that Sow Downer does at a third of the price. Adjust tempo, key, import from your playlists, choose phrases to learn licks, loop, make notes that you can attach to the piece. All in a very intuitive way on pages that are focussed.
I'm using it now in place of slow downer because of the configuration of the page on my iPhone. I like it and highly recommend it. Definitely worth checking out.
No connection other than being just one happy user of a solid app.
I am trying to find a set of the Cross Harp before they are gone. Hohner is discontinuing the Cross Harp series. Does anyone know where I can get them all.

Hello,
I got my new Megatone ME-18 in Belgium last week.
It was very well packaged and it sounds very nice.
So, if you live in Europe, don't worry about ordering an amp from DJL Vintage Audio.
Thanks David for the advice. Thanks Dale for the good job.
