actually I first tought to put this question directly to David, our lead instructor, but he is busy enough and the question is much too simple. On the other hand, he might not even be aware of how he is doing this himself as a profesional musician, because he most probably does this instinctively. Myself I feel quite lost at this task.
But now the question: how do I recognise in which key a song (blues OR NOT) is played in? Quite obvious for most pros, isn't it? continue reading...
I was surprised to hear Sharon was jamming with you on the Halloween project. Does she intend to continue her studies? I was following her lessons. In any event I hope she continues play. Having one of the best instructors on the planet in her kitchen is a plus.
Man i'm just a terrible with computers lol. I want to submit my recordings for review but i have no clue how to create an MP3.. I dont know if there's a mic on this desktop, i'm at the office, or, I have an 1phone I can use, or how to upload to youtube. Not your general music question but would be greatful for any feed back..
He just adores the jam tracks. He sings better than I can play, gets the rhythms and in key spot on! He's really good at pickup notes and has the Charleston rhythm down pat. You should hear his flutters! He also definitely has more soul.
Does anyone have the sheet music and tabs for Sweet Home Chicago in cross harp? I've tried to find the full song but all I've found is the full song (tabs only) in first position. It seems incongruous to me that I am having such trouble finding a blues standard in cross harp; I would think this would be common.
Anyway, I'd really prefer it in sheet music and tabs but will take what I can get and wing it with tabs only or add tabs to sheet music if necessary.
Can anyone help me figure out the opening riff to Billy Boy Arnolds song Rockin' it is? I just love that intro. I have tried but my ears are not good enough yet to figure it out yet.
i want to ask how important is the body/mouth size (volume) of the player for good tone?
I'm rather a slim person and i wondered, if someone with more body size has a better tone from the beginning or can everybody who tunes the mouth and everything else to the pitch, archive a good/fat tone?
