David

For submission of ex. 1.2 and 1.6, do you want the whole jam track of "Use to be my baby"  including  the solo  played?  If not how many choruses should we record?

Thanks

Hello David....I was trying to download  Lesson #11 Theory Study 1 Sec. 3(Major Scales) of you and Ryan Walker. I enjoy viewing your contributers and helps a lot in my studies. Have you remove his or some of the other contributors sections as well from the teaching sites or is this strictly on my end? Thx, John

LOA 6 S.H. 3 Ex 1.3

In 5th measure (4 chord) 2 blow followed by draw 2,1 (pull).  I find myself doing a 2/1 blow  when preceeded by a blow note.  Same if it is a 2/1 draw I would tend to follow with a draw pull.  Should I slow down, concentrate and play it as written or is it OK to play what seems to flow easier for me which is to match blow pulls with preceeding blow notes, draw pulls with preceeding draw notes.  Hope this makes sense

David

In the subject Rumba 12 bar example, the first 3 (F#) draw you come to I beleive is held for two beats and then the 3 draw in bar #2 is only one beat. Correct?

I asked because it seems like in the video of you playing it, you hold the second 3 draw the same lenght.

Maybe I'm worng  but I'm not sure. Hopefully you undertsnad what I'm asking.

Thanks

Flutters

Hello David ......

I know you have told us to LEARN how to do the flutter say on a 4 blow, is to start it immediately at the END of the slap. But is it proper  for you to start the flutter say on a 4 blow a little later than the slap for a added textur while your hanging out on the 4blow for a beat or two. Thx JT

I purchased a marine band harmonica and have spent a week with your lessons. I like them and want to know what the cost is to continue after my 30 day trial expires?
