Hello David.......I am considering purchasing your book called " Building Harmonica Technique". I have several of your other lesson books on blues harmonica and they show some harmonica technique in them.  My question....is the material on harmonica technique presented in the lesson books that I already have much the same information that is presented in the book called, "Building Harmonica Technique? " Perhaps the purchase wouldn't be necessary. Thx John

Hello John. You mentioned the

Hello John. You mentioned the same book twice... which one were you meaning to say?

By the way... BluesHarmonica.com has much more covered, and in greater detail, than my books... so there's really no reason to purchase them. Some students like to have different approaches, and the books do have that to a certain degree. The books I recommend are Improvising Blues Harmonica, Blues Harmonica Accompaniment Playing, and Rock Harmonica Method.

Lesson Books

Hi David...what I was trying convey to you was I have some of your first lesson books like "First lessons on Harmonica and "First lessons on Blues Harmonica", Chicago blues#1" etc. then I noticed that you have other books such as Building Harmonica Technique, Improvising on the Harmonic and Accompaniment Playing that seem to be more subject oriented. Is there much more information on these latter books,  that maybe go into more detail on the subjects or is it pretty much the same info as your beginning earlier lesson books provide? Thx John

Hello John. You're correct,

Hello John. You're correct, the method books you mentioned are general beginning methods and cover a lot of elements important to the beginner, and the later books are more specific (improvising, accompaniment, 3rd position, etc.).
