Hi Dave,

  I need some clarification.

When you typically talk about the I chord, it is GBD; the IV Chord CEG and the V Chord D,F#, A.

In you lesson on understanding position playing (and the end of L.O.A. 3), you talk about

the I Chord on a C Harmonica and you say it is CEG, and the IV Chord is GBD .

Can you please explain ?

   Thank you for your time

Hello Steve. "When you

Hello Steve.

"When you typically talk about the I chord, it is GBD; the IV Chord CEG and the V Chord D,F#, A."

Correct. This is your C Harmonica playing in 2nd Position, Key of G. This is our most common position used in the blues.

"The I Chord on a C Harmonica and you say it is CEG, and the IV Chord is GBD ."

That is the C Harmonica playing in 1st Position, Key of C.
