Since a few weeks I've been struggling with bending and finally I'm getting somewhere, but I have doubts regarding my technique. I managed to have a pitch-wise proper bend (I can tell it's proper since I use HarpNinja), however it feels to me that I achieve it wrong way: for the 4th hole bend I put my tongue back so it's rather "koo" than "key", and my jaw gets tired quite fast, although as far as I know it shouldn't be involved. continue reading...
Ok I been Playing Harmonica for a month now. I have a key of C older Special 20 that I bought new years ago and never had the time to learn. I learn Real real fast. I play 8 different instruments. Any way now I have the time. I Bought A special 20 progresive in the key of A and it was out of key so I sent it back. Then I tried a Harpmaster and it was hard to get any volume out so I sent it back. Then I bought 2 Crossovers. One was out of tune the other the 6 draw was hard to get anything out of, and when I did it sounds like a goose. Next I thought I would try a sydel or a lee oskar. continue reading...

My name is Steve from Switzerland. I have just signed up for the classes. I have been playing for 7 months now.
Here is my question now: I have a big nose, not freakingly big but big enough so that when I hold my Marine Band my nose is always on the way with my fingers. Is that something normal or I am not holding the harmonica well?
