G'day, i'm wondering if anyone here has experience with playing from the transcriptions in this book. I've seen it in the background of some of the videos here. It has good reviews on Amazon, but i get the impression those reviews are from people who haven't actually used the book, i.e. they are super impressed with what it purports to be, but haven't played anything from it.
So I'm at the jam and when I pick up my C harp (the second time in the set), the 1 hole is jammed!! No sound draw or blow. Luckily I packed a spare harp, picked it up and finished. I finally got through the entire Tom Ball interview and really enjoyed it. Great stuff David! The first harp instructional book I ever bought was Tom's Sonny Terry book. I missed a chance to see him and Kenny play up in the hills outside of Santa Barbara many years back and still kick myself for not going.
