I am selling my Megatone ME-18 for financial reasons. The amp was purchased in May of 2013. It has never left my smoke free studio, never gigged. The color is custom, black on cream. Looks stunning and sound awesome. The price is about $430 cheaper than if you bought it new with shipping and tax. I am having trouble loading the pics, but I will send them upon request. I have a well established Ebay selling profile you may view. Thanks!!
I notice David mention how some tuners are hard to work with and it resonated with me. i certainly have found a few tuners and apps which weren't really practical because they were so unstable.
so i thought i'd mention the Korg CA 40. JimiLee suggested this unit to me. i believe he recommends it to all his students, so its tried and true. continue reading...

I recently purchased a set of Seydel Session Steels. I can play them OK, but the taller coverplates are a bit awkward as compared to the SP20s and MBs I usually play. I had heard of some players swapping out the cover plates for lower profile ones (like 1847 or soloist pro coverplates). I am trying to determine whether to swap them out and if so, with what. Anybody have experience on this a far as what covers will fit and would be on par with the feel of an SP20? Also if I decide to swap them out what I should know as far as being able to take them apart and put them back together. continue reading...

Now for sale at The Starving Musician, Santa Clara (3939 Stevens Creek Blvd.) we have a great deal on this classic harp amp. Only $150!! It's got a lot of miles on it but what it lacks in looks it more than makes up for in tone. Reply here for details or call the store at (408) 554-9041.
I have been playing and performing with a Shure Green Bullet microphone. I know most people either love or hate this microphone. However it would be nice not to have worry about tripping over the cord or it getting damaged. While not on the buy list in the immediate future I am starting to investigate and review wireless bullet microphone set ups. I would eventually like to get one. I do want to maintain an old school dirty sound from the microphone. Anybody had experience with a wireless microphone or can recommend a wireless bullet microphone?
