I've been following lessons here for a couple of weeks and I love it! I assume all of you have gone through the same thing, so here's my question:
When I've used all my air on blow notes, I get a feeling of suffocation and I MUST breath in (also through the nose). Does anyone have tips as to how to overcome this and to learn to inhale gently and only through the mouth?

I have a couple marine band harmonicas with blown reeds , while looking on the internet I was surprised of the coast for screws and reeds. The question is - is it worth repairing the harps or just replacing ? How many of you do your own repairs? I have replaced reeds in my lee oscars but the hohners seem to take some effort ?
I am currently working with a manufacturer that makes horns for motorcycles and automotive. We were discussing horn tone. Their sales representative had made the following statement.
"The human ear prefers to hear harmony (two or more frequencies) and hence most passenger cars and some motorcycles will have two horns on them."
We use a low note disc (360HZ, @ between F and F#) horn on some of our motorcycles. For automotive applications that use this horn an accompanying high note horn (420hz, @ between Ab and A) is used which results in harmony and a much better tone quality. continue reading...
In the introduction to songwriting Gary Smith mentions an instrumental by Sonny Boy Williamson 2 on the Trumpet label. He couldn't place the name. From his description I believe the tune is called Cat Hop. Link attached.
