Good tip on the space bar David. It's also useful for other applications like iTunes, Amazing Slow Downer and Transcribe and probably most other 'playback' applications. Starts and pauses the playback. And its so much easier than scrolling around with the mouse to the play or pause button.

I was going to write this to David, because I was embarrassed to share it with the group, but improvising is hard to face, so I thought maybe others would relate to this. Do other people go through this:
If only I had more time to give to the harmonica. Work can be so demanding, I'm too tired to do the hard stuff when I get home. Now that I'm settled into my new place, I hope I can give it more time. So, today too many chores (finishing settling in), so opted out of Lindy Hop practice. (I'll dance and socialize tomorrow.) continue reading...
My focus is on three very important subjects right now: improvising, theory and accompaniment playing. Once these are completed, my focus will be on adding material to the beginning section of the website where needed.
For those that have completed the beginning section of the site and are working on, or have completed, "Gary's Blues" (Tongue Blocking Study 3) and "The Strut" (Bending Study 3) please share with me...

Bought my Marine Band C harmonica a couple of months ago and have been fooling around on it for a while without making much progress. I was excited to see a Facebook link this morning that offered me 21 days of free lessons because of my recent Hohner purchase.
I get here, go through the signup drill and what do I see for my first beginner lesson-- Get out your A harmonica. We might use your C harmonica later. In fact, why don't you go out and buy a bunch of other harmonicas.
Just returned from the Hornby Island Blues Workshop - four days of workshops for guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and harp players along with vocalists - all in the blues genre. This because I no longer had the opportunity to attend David's Masterclass workshop in San Jose (miss it!!) The 'major' workshop (every morning) I chose was written up like this: continue reading...
I'm now working for Harrison Harmonicas. Richard Sleigh and I will be working out of our own shops helping with the current backlog. I'll still be customizing Seydel Harmonicas... in fact I'm as busy as ever now that the weather has brightened up. This is a great opportunity for me with many exciting things that could happen in the future. You bluesharmonica.com friends will be the first to know.

For those of you that are making the trip to Steve Baker's Harmonica Masters Workshop in Trossingen, Germany, join me for dinner at 6pm at the Hotel Traub (my favorite Italian restaurant) in the back room Friday night. I'll buy a round of beer for everyone. I'll post this in the General section of the forum as well... please let me know if you'll be joining us... it should be a good time.
