Bust the reeds on one harmonica and suffered blisters on my lips learning this tribute to Sonny Boy Williamson #1. More practice needed but it's a start...

Red House

Our drummer and lead guitar missed practice a while back, so bass, vocal/rhythmn and harp recorded (via Zoom H2) a coupla' acoustic numbers and sank a few beers (as you do) before calling it quits. Red House is one of my fav slow blues.  This is an on-the-spot improv.  I'm interested in other players interpretations of this Hendrix classic and how they might fit harp to it.

Columbian Insanity Chillies

Written and recorded in Sydney by a singer song writer (Garren Staines) who asked me to sit in with harp. Improvised on the spot in the studio. It isn't the blues but then if someone really digs the sound of harmonica then as a player I think its a good challenge to try to give them the sound they are looking for. This was my first time in a studio and I had no idea of what Garren was going to produce or what was expected of me - as a result I played cautiously favoring less over more.
