Put Me Down

I wrote the words and co-wrote the music with my band. I was inspired by Albert Kings "Cross-cut Saw" and Junior Wells "Messin' With The Kid". Thank you for listening, I hope you enjoyed it!

I tried to approach the harp with the attack and techinques that Rick Estrin used on the song "D.O.G" on his new album, "One Wrong Turn"

This swing intro borrows on both West Coast and British styles with improvisation and continues my study of mixing styles. It's played off the cuff and needs some chorus form review (like ending with the head), and hope to tackle that over the next few months. continue reading...

I have also been learning Jerry McCain's "Steady" and this is my attempt/work in progress. Recorded without any effects so I can detect errors clearly. Found it very difficult in places. Comments very welcome.

Not exactly blues, but here's an abdriged arrangment of Pachelbel's Canon in D for 4 harmonicas (the original instruments, I'm sture!).

pawnshop bound solo a cappella

Hi!!

after David talked about that song in his "tip of the day" for the high end playing licks ,

I decided to study that song :)

very fun play, very rich of great harmonica techniques sometimes difficult to play due to the speed of the song,

the high end is great for the 5 octave usage end the non common use of the 2/6 octave..

I recorded a cappella I hope you can hear the licks well :)

Thanks for the comments in advance!!!
