What it is about this instrument that when I hear it played like this it really pumps me up. Thanks Steve for sharing this inspirational work...... I look forwrd to hearing the live version.

Maybe you are talking about the intro not being like the original?  I just listened to a version of the song on Youtube and the walking bass style is very close to the backing track.

Thanks Rob!  Yeah certain things about the blues chro are just cool.  Working on this song forced me to start digging in to the chromatic more.  It's fun!

Super chromatic playing Steve! You know what, the 12 bar backing to your playing more than "kind a sort a works" and it's a fine example to students of how to play with excellent technique and dynamics. I'm currently messing around with the chromatic and get a real buzz when I can play a chorus or two that lean on certain sweet spots and sound cool in that way that is unique to the blues chromatic harp. I'm inspired by your efforts once again!
