suddenly I wanted to ask you David with sincerity is that it is harmonicas the classic marine band are bad to play because I am already buying full ??

I seem to have tamed the difficult draws on diatonic harmonicas (2 on G and A, 1 on C and D). It was hard to get a good tone for the 1 draw on the chromatic, but I got it.

Now, there remains an annoying small delay for 1 draw to respond.

At first I thought it was related to the tone problem, and that opening the throat / lowering the tongue better was the key to both better tone and timing. Then I had doubts, since draws are ok now on the diatonics I own. continue reading...

Hi I have only been trying out these lessons for a few days now, but am really enjoying them. Your teaching is excellent and I have been able to learn how to play single notes, and began learning Silent Night with single notes. The only technique I was having some slight issues with was, the bending. I can not seem to get my tongue to work out the bending of the notes, I am still a beginner and this is my first time playing harmonica. I have a Blues Harp A key harmonica and it is a very nice instrument. continue reading...

hello David I sent you an audio on the lesson of tong blocking on the Gary's blues mp3 but I am not understood with the translator what you meant by the My only recommendation is to dip your 3 prints (the little carrot above the 3 pull notes) is that you could make me see this with the tablature by making a circle around it just so that I can see? Hi Mr, Barrett.

I'm new to the site. I'm working my way through lesson 1, and I'm up to Study 1 Chord Grooves. In the video where you play the Section 2 Bass Lines, you begin by saying that to play Ex.2.1,2.2, and 2.3 "You must have finished Tongue Block Study 3."

Where is Tongue Block Study Three? I can't find it in the material that preceeds Chord Grooves.
