Student Concert

Couple of quick questions.  I really like the idea of the student concert.  The only thing is not being an actual student of yours I'm not participating in your student concert :(.  What suggestions might you have about how to get some experience playing with a band and in front of other people.  I know that my own skill set isn't large enough to try joining a band, but I'm really interested in trying it out in an environment where people understand that I'm a beginner/student and are there simply to support that role.

vibrato

Greetings David,

I have read the offerings on the forum with regard to do vibrato and I have played your lesson on vibrato many times.

My question is...Is doing a vibrato a matter of tuning your mouth, and while doing a tremelo (which I am fairly good at) and simulaniously doing a rapid serioes of relaxed glottal stops?

This seems doggedly difficult for me but I am quite stubborn.  I am supposing that it is best to do this fairly slowly in the begging so as to train your throat.

Am I missing anything?

Best Regards,

Moving harmonica with tongue blocking

First of all, thank you for you lessons (and maybe sorry for my english)- they are awesome!

I have studied C Harmonica for couple of months by some webinars. But your lessons are so on another level! So thank you!

My problem: when I'm trying to play with tongue blocking and move harmonica quickly my tongue is usually staying on the same draw. Is that something I missing or this is just something that can be solved by more practicing?

Regarding LOA 4 - Movement exercises  - Scales.

When it comes time to submit the scale...

Are you wanting us to use an ' A ' harmonica ?

          Thank you for your time

Better Articulation

Hello David,  I am working on the c major scale and feel pretty good in all three oactaves.   I am practicing with a metrenome at 102bpm.   I would like clearer or better seperation or articulation in the lower octave.  I can hit the bends correctly but would like clearer seperation between the bent and natural notes.  Any suggestions?

Thank you.

David Saccucci.

' unlocking songs '

Hi David,

I missed this somewhere along the way.  I just moved onto LOA 4   :  )

There is some mention about ' unlocking ' a song when you graduate a level.

I don't think I have done this for LOA 1 - 3 .  How does this work ?...Upon completing

a certain level you received a code or some sort to ' unlock' access to a song

and its sheet music/videos ? Do you e-mail  that code / key to the individual ?  and then

where is the song/where do you type in the key  ?

Thank you for your time continue reading...

Hi David,

I really hate to seem dense but I am not at all sure what you are asking for in Ex 2.1 of the written test for level three. Can you please explain?

Thank You for your help.
