Hi David,

Where on the website can I find PDF for sheet music with detailed explanation, notes, etc.? Just the basics so that I canunderstand the sheet music.

Asking this because your very first lessons in level 1 already have sheet lines and I am a bit confused about some elements there.

Thank you,

Anait

Study Song 2-Temperature

Posted Thu, 12/14/2017 - 13:41 by vid wes

In "Temperatue" almost all of the notes above holes one and two are marked to played as slaps.  However when I listen to the recording, I'm not really hearing slaps on all of the marked notes.  This is especially true when a group of eight notes occurs.  I hear the slap on the first note of the group but the folloiwng notes either have no slap or it is really slight.

Could you please clarify this for me.

Thanks

Level 4 Shake with 2 Bends

Hi David, in  the Accompaniment study, 'I Want You With Me' (version 2), at the 2:07 verse (right after the guitar solo) there is a 3-4 hole shake for one measure that goes into a 3- 4 hole double bend with a shake for one measure and back to a regular 3 - 4 hole shake.  I think this is the first time I've seen a 'double bend' shake.  What's the best way to learn and practice this?  I can get a bend on each hole, but am having trouble sustaining both bends while also shaking!

Dear teacher

when I arrived at the minor chords section, I became a little confused. To play on the G Minor jam track with triads 1-G-Bb-D-F. 4-C-Eb-G-Bb. 5-D-F-A-A, should I use my C harp 2nd position minor in myxolidian or my Bb harp 4th position in minor and start on the hole 3 '' ?

Thank you

Morning David,

Just wondered if you, or the professional players you know have ever worn ear monitors to enable you to hear yourself playing whilst on stage?

Regards

I know you say we need an A harp but I was given a C Hohner Special 20 as a gift. Will this in any way put a damper on my lessons?

I'm a new student and have never played any kind of instrument. Harmonica has always been my favorite. I'm a fan of little Walter and listen to him all the time. My question is what is the best way to hold a harp?

David, I just wanted to thank you for doing the reviews on the small amps. I have really enjoyed learning about these models and hearing your opinion. Based on Small Amp Review Checklist which lists quite a few amps - will you be doing a review of all of the models listed?  Thanks again.

Rollin' Rhumba sheet music

Posted Fri, 12/08/2017 - 04:13 by MarekP

Hi David,

In the Rollin' Rhumba sheet music 2nd chorus, measure 2 starts with an eighth rest, but I cant' hear you playing it in the recorded mp3. It seems you play it shorter or not at all, and move it after the first beat. Am I right? Should I play it exactly as in the sheet?

Thanks,

Marek
