Hi there,
I was just wondering if there are any lessons on lip blocking. I've heard a few pros and cons about both styles. I'm a newbie and still working on perfecting the single note.
Thanks,
Shari

Hello David,
When you play the 4 to 1 (5 5+ 5+ 4 1) in Highway 59, does the tongue stay in place and you just lean more towards the 1, or is it best to move the tongue somewhat?
I'm getting this little annoying popup on your website at the bottom right of the screen now that says "Live Support OFFLINE" powered by SNAP or something. It blocks the volume and full screen controls while watching videos. Is this something new? At first I thought it was a virus plug in or something.

I have a transcription for "Juke" by Joe Filisko but am a little confused by some of his notations...It may be that I am just so accustomed to reading the "Barrett" style of transcription.......I have "Juke" on my Slowdowner app and have been looping the choruses; there are only a few places where I am not quite getting it. First 4 choruses are pretty solid, give or take a note......../Does Bluesharmonica.com have "Juke" transcribed? Can I get a copy?
Hi David,
I'm at Exercise 3.4 and 3.5. But, apparently I missed something before this.
I do not know how to figure where the sharps and flats are in Exercise 3.5.
Help!
Per the "Steve Guyger" interview......Big Walter Horton; "Going to Memphis"......Wish to get that recording and maybe a list of solid 1st position cuts to catalog for my study....Thanks
I just bought the Harmonica Masterclass mother load to use as supplemental material for the coursework on this site, Could you where in the site lesson plans to use each of the books from the four Masterclass bundles?
I don't want you to get the idea that I think the website is lacking in anyway. I'm constantly amazed at the amount of spectacular material. I have a hard time keeping up and I'm not the one putting it together! Don't know if you take requests but I someday down the road would love to see Butterfield & Junior Wells Artist Studies. I'm sure you have a list a mile long of Artist Studies you'd love to have as well as other material you're working on (interviews, lessons, contributors, theory, accompaniment, etc) and I have plenty of material to keep me busy on the site as is is. continue reading...
