* Ex 3.7 & 3.9: Question: Should the V be mentioned above bar 12? The exercise is not meant to write a turn-around.

* Answer Ex 2.6: Fdim should be F#dim
* Answer Ex 3.9 Bar 5: B should be Bb
* Answer Ex 4.3 IV7 chord hole 10: 10+ / 10’’+
* Answer Ex 4.14 V7 chord: add: 10+ C b7th
* Answer Ex 4.18 I7 chord hole 9: F / G
* Answer Ex 4.18 V7 chord hole 10: change order into A / C

Fantastic... thank you very much for your work on this. I dropped the V Chord (turnaround) now, that would have confused people. You could put it there though... if the band were to play it you most likely would as well.

Ex 3.7 & 3.9

Hi David,

Except bar 12, wordings 3.7 and 3.9 are the same. Solutions are different.

Kind regards,

Eddy

Inconsistency in Ex 5.3 & Correction in Answer Ex 5.3

Hi David,

In the video you cover Ex 5.3 explaining the minor v7 (D F A C), whereas the written material uses the Major V7 (D F# A C). (Because of the following exercise 5.4 which also uses the Major V7).

The answer ex 5.3 contains an error: V7 -- F, whereas it should be either v7 --F or V7 --F#.
As 5.3 is used to fill out 5.4 it should be V7 : D F# A C

Regards, Mathieu
