LOA L3 - Solo

Hello David,

The instructions for the solo part of the LOA L3 say:

Example 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 2.3, or 2.4 with a Metronome (you choose the tempo)

Does this mean one of them, or 1.7, 1.8, 1.9 plus either 2.3 or 2.4?

Hey David,

I've been practicing for about two months. I've been focusing molately on the tongue blocking and the tongue blocking songs, and playing more by feel/practice than by keeping the beat while I play. Im Trying to start working on this more now and wanted to ask if you have any reconendations on ways to practice this? i get especially tripped up when trying to play notes between beats.

thanks!

This is not a question but some information pertaining to my LOA submissions.  I have currently started Level 4 in my studies and decided to send test material as part of the LOA program.  I had previously not done that.  Today I sent to you my LOA Level 1 test files.  After I hear from you I will be submitting Level 2 submissions followed by Level 3. continue reading...

Shake Technique Question

I did 't see a way to search past questions on the forum.....

So on the shake exercise - your using a tongue block to play hole 4 then sliding the harmonica (or moving head) to play hole 5.  Is the tongue moving to cover 2-3-4 when playing 5?  or are you actually playing 4-5 at the same time?

Thanks!!

Gday David.

This is a two part question, which I'm sure you may have answered before: I'm sure you've mentioned it but I'm lost in the vastness of information and its hard to see the bush through the trees here...

What are the notes in the major and minor pentatonic scales and their relation to the blues scale.

Submitting LOA Study Song

Posted Wed, 06/22/2022 - 10:52 by Eric Pillemer

Hi David

I am getting ready to submit the materials for the LOA Level1. I am a bit technically challenged, but I tried to follow your video on how to submit the study song as precisely as I could. I managed to create an mp3 file, but when I tried to test it by sending it to my own email it stated there was an error, and it wouldn't open up when I clicked on it.

I'm not sure the problem but it is possible my email doesn't read mp3s. Should I try submitting the mp3 file to you to see if you can open it? If so, what email should I use?

Thanks

Eric
