hello, I am confused in regards to the harmonica key. You mention trough the segment that when talking music thepry or accompatient music, we use a C harmonica. And provide the proper keys, example, 1 blow is C and G being 4 being 4blow. but in the pdf as well as in the video for the long held notes you say to use A harmonica. That changes the whole key positions. Right?

Ear Training

Hello David,  I hope everything is going well. Finally put some time into ear training lessons.

Listening to  "All the Love in the World"  I at first identified as Dm until a used E's and B's.  Not minor.   Then I  improvised with the G Blues Scale.  Not bad.   I then improvised with the Majar Pentatonic Scale .  Obviously, it is in the key of D( Harp G 2nd position). Since the song sounds bluesy to me, I choose the blues scale.  Am I using the correct logic?

Joe Filisko

Hi David

It is great having the lessons from Joe Filisko on your website. He is a great teacher and much of what he teaches is complementary to your training program.

My question is how to incorporate his lessons with the Level of Achievement program. Is there a certain time point that it would be appropriate to add in some of his lessons, for example after completion of a particular level? Since your approaches differ in some areas, I don't want to get too confused!

Thanks!

Eric

The Paul Butterfield artist studysong has a back-and-forth with a guitar. I'd like to try it with one of my bandmates on guitar. Are the guitar tabs available somewhere? I did not find them in the study material for the lesson. Thanks in advance!

Time to complete a level

Hi David

Just starting your LOA program and I was curious as to how long on average you think it will take to complete a level practicing an hour a day. Looking at Hob's progress on the website, he completed the Level 1 and 2 study songs in 10 lessons with you. Were those done weekly? If so it seems as if he completed levels 1 and 2 in only 10 weeks. Is that a usual expectation of the amount of time needed?

Thanks

Eric

Blues Break Question

Hello David, I very recently completed the level 3 requirements. Somehow the study song: Blues Creepin Over Me fell through the cracks. I remember you saying that the song would be revisited at some point, so I think I should give it some attention.

So I am adding it to my practice regimin as best I can. I will just learn it verse by verse as I have done with all the other songs, but have you any other suggestions? Thanks.
