For the LOA 5 test playing one chorus per hole on the 9 hole we have an F# and the only way to get there is a half step blow bend. is this one optional like the 10'+B? Im thinking you want it cause its written in.
As you know i have been gone for about 2 years and just came back to the website. I see you have really added alot of in depth material. The Ryan Walker lessons look excellent...and it looks like much can be gained by watching him.
I might start over again .. .. and watch the 2 of you.
Hi David! I'be got my first month under my belt and I am making progress. My question on the solo harmonica study is for example 1.5 and 1.6. Should I be tongue blocking the single notes or puckering? If it is tongue blocking, can you give me a tip around how to do it? When I try I end up blocking mos it the notes I am trying to play. Thanks!
Eminem-Purple Pills , At the end of the song 4;07 there's a nifty harmonica solo and i can find the tabs NoWhere..i'm pretty disapointed , so i want to know if you could give it a look or anybody who wants to do it , i think its a challenge regardless nobody have done it since then.
Will the Overbending lessons eventually be incorporated into the LOA series ? I am currently on LOA 2, and would like to learn this technique. Just wondering if I can continue to work through all the LOA's and I will eventually go through these lessons as part of the various LOA's or should I plan on the technique being a 'stand alone series' and tackle it seperatly and not part of the LOA's ?
I just went out and bought two C harmonicas ( a special 20 & a crossover). The first lesson is using an A so should I get an A to practice with so it sounds like the recordings?
I saw in the "Mics all you need to know" video that you mentioned the Shure 533. now I got this guy here who sells something called Shure PE-53 which looks identical, are they the same or what's the difference in your opinion? he wants 60$ and it has a PL connection for a guitar cable, would like to know what you think.
