Would that work to practice bending with? For example, if I'm trying to bend 3 draw on a C harp down a whole step, will it recognize and display that it's hearing an A?
If that model wouldn't be good for that, can you recommend one that would work?
I know about harpninja and various apps, but a dedicated tuner of that type would meet my needs better for some circumstances.
I hope this belongs here, I wondered if you got some tips regarding transposition or finding the "right" harmonica key for certain harmonics/melodies that you like and wanna play on the harp. for example I listened to peter gunn theme yesterday and trascribed what I think are the correct pitches. now I understand that If I wanna play in key I gotta play the same pitches, so my question for you is how do you go about both;
hello sir , i cant get the two draw bend easily and lots of air goes out .sometimes i can get up to "Gb" . i am using a C harmonica and my 3draws bends are sounding fine.please help
I was ready to purchase harpninja for diatonic harmonica. $19.99. then I saw a harpninja bundle $35.00. I'm not sure what the bundle is. Please explain and advise.
befor I signed in to learn online with you I studied with your really great book "Rock Harmonica". At this time TB was not familiar to me...(nearly 3 years ago I guess)... and I was practicing too heavy stuff. I love Butter Strut and Whammer Jammer - so: Can I find guided lessons to these songs on the website?
You say to use the KA articulation when starting the lessons on hole 1. is the KA to be used on all notes?
Also, should i slap the 2 hole notes both draw and blow? using the 12 hole chromatic the blow sounds ok but the draw is kind of week sounding when slapped. This could be the harps reed set up though.
I'm playing with a loud band and am having trouble getting the volume I need. I'm playing thruogh a Bassman but I also have a VHT SP 6. Do you recommend trying 2 amps and if so what's the best way to go about it. I had a line-out put in the VHT so that might be helpful but I'm not the least bit savy with electronics so I would really appreciate some advice.
I'm on Levels of Achievement 1. I have been a guitarist for 20 yrs but harmonica is brand new to me. I have been working on my single notes using tongue blocking. Sometimes I get a strong hole 4 note but when I draw on that same hole I get nothing but air. No note. What might I be doing wrong?
