In the opening video of LOA3 you say that for the accompaniment section you want us to play on one hole for a verse using the notes available on that hole to follow the chords. Then the second hole for a verse, up to hole 6.

Have I understood that right?

Is a verse the whole 12 bars? In which case do I submit 6 versions? One for each hole? (Is that even possible?)

Thanks.

That's correct. So your final

That's correct. So your final submission should be six verses (choruses), of which are 12 bars each, in total length. If a note is not available on a given hole, then move up or down one hole to play a note that works. Work on the accompaniment lesson, I show you how to do it.

You're focussing on a three-note chord right now (G B D for example). When you get to four-note chords in study 5 (G B D F) you'll be able to do this only having to move off your hole one time (hole 5, the F# of the V7 Chord is not available).

This is an extremely valuable exercise, one of the two most important exercises you'll ever do in your lessons (Chorus Forms being the other).
