Hi David,
I've just started looking at Accompaniament study 7 (Ex 1.1 - 1.3 and 2.1 - 2.5) but I don't understand where you would use these examples in accompaniament playing. For example, are base lines used throughout the song or just in certain parts of the song.
As part of the music theory studies I thought I'd tab out a song. Something simple like Yesterday by the Beatles. It's in F. It has a natural B and a sharp C in the second bar. Trying to play in first or second position calls for either an overblow or blow bend. Neither of which I can do. I've ran into this with a couple of songs tabbed. Is there a suggestion to help with this? I'm not advanced enough to do either yet.
I recently ordered a basic three string box guitar. I thought it would be fun to pick up some blues slide guitar on it while playing a harmonica in a rack. It would be great if there was a video here on rack playing. Did not know if yourself or one of the contributors could add some insight on proper rack playing or do a video.
