Im going back through the lessons on practice that I recently discovered on my main page under new lessons. great stuff. especially the play less listen more concept. that practice just in itself has helped speed accurate learning along.
My bandmates (2 guitar players, a base player, a dummer) recently proposed adding 'Big Legged Woman' by Freddie King to our setlist. The original does not have a harmonica part and I'm at a loss on how to approach the accompaniment on this song. The groove seems rather different than the examples in the accompaniment playing and tongue blocking lessons that I went through on the site. Does anyone have suggestions on what would be a reasonable harp line to play under this song? continue reading...
I have new credit card with new expiration date. I have received two email warnings from you regarding need to update credit card info. I have not been able to successfully do so through your website? Can someone call or email me and I can provide CC info over the phone
I recently switched from iPhone to Galaxy z flip 3. I can play mp3 files directly from a usb drive, one at a time manually. I can't figure out how to play several files automatically. I would also like to add files directly to the phone's internal storage; nothing I have tried has worked so far. Any help will be appreciated. continue reading...
I went to the dentist yesterday for a temporary crown to fix a broken tooth. After grinding most of it away to make a base for the crown he remarked, "that was quicker than I expected... usually with this tooth the tongue gets in the way." I told him I was learning to play the harmonica, which requires good tongue control. So there it is, another non-musical benefit to learning the harmonica :-)
I finished LOA 1 recently, and am starting level 2..I'm having a harder
time with the rythm of Temperature than I did with Walk with Me.
In Walk with me, the 4 taps set the beat and speed for me and I just kept that in my head as I played..but Temperature, instead of start with 4 taps to set the beat, goes tap, tap, tap-tap-tap and I don't get it..
