After hours of trying to get Little Walter's Blue Midnight "right," I found myself blue and at midnight. So I took the backing track for it (Shoji's), with my RP 255 hooked up to my Kalamazoo (for reverb), and improvised this. It's pretty much stream of consciousness rather than memorable chorus form work (well, I guess it's a lot of ABC chorus forms, if you want to look at it that way). Kind of thematic/repetitive in places, though.
I think the CR element in my mike is a little too hot for the RP 255, so it clips nastily in places. Still working on figuring out how to use it best. continue reading...

This is my version of Juke by Little Walter. I have been studying this tune on and off for years and this is the best I can do so far. Trying to play as close as possible to the original. Jamtrack by Shoji.

Sorry this is not the blues again. But one of my favourite tune from 80s. Marcus Miller is the author. Harmonica starts approximately after one minute of the bass guitar intro solo.

Solo Sharp attempt at sharp harp,
only recently heard this song and the original has got a great groove to it. So I had a go at making a solo version to add to the repertoire. Please dont turn it up too loud, I was standing a bit close to the comp mic so it really is sharp
