The past seven months of using this site, I've been working on my tone. I started as a pucker player and switched to TB and have gotten great feedback from David Barrett (mostly he said, your tone is thin...). So every time I pick up the harp, I worked on my tone with the opening of Portney's Blues for Big Nate. I thought I'd upload my progress and share. I think I'm sounding better--which is a testament to David's site and lessons. continue reading...

I started playing a little over a year now. Here's Little Walter's Rocker with my new (to me at least) Fender Super Champ XD and crystal Brown Biscuit. I'm using the Shotunes Jam Track which is roughly 25% slower than the original.

So I just posted my first song from a year ago on the site (Walk With Me) when I first started playing harmonica. This is the one I just recorded. Not the best recording and still could use some work. Probably will sound better if I play it amplified.

Update: I'm going to fix some things and post the results in a few weeks.
