Hey Ya'll!

Here's another recording of me and my friend Jim Bonney playing the classic dixieland tune "Indiana." I was watching the Gary Primich interview videos and he talked about this tune with David. I love the Blues but I'm always up for working in more and more non twelve bar songs into my setlist. Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks!

Hey Guys and Gals,

Here's a recording of me and my buddy preparing for a recent gig. Walter's Boogie by the one and only Big Walter Horton. The Four chord lick in this tune is one that has taken me many years to master. Check it out on youtube if you'd like! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04CrrtO45dI

Thanks!

Sad Hours - Acoustic harp

Posted Thu, 02/29/2024 - 00:12 by mmarquez

My cover of the Little Walter's slow blues harp standard. Or as my young daughter called it today, "a very dramatic song" :).

I play a Bb Lee Oskar harp, and recorded this acoustic cover with my phone while practicing it, so you can clearly hear me gasping for air at times. Later I mixed it with the backing track in Bandlab. This is made in two cuts, luckily I only had to splice 4 bars where I made a little mistake at the end of the main take. I like how it turned out, but I'm obviously still working on it =). continue reading...

This one is literally a tongue-twister:). Appreciate your feedback. Perhaps the most challenging song technically I've worked so far. This is my best shot at it.. Here is the video version:

Please help.

I have uploaded ABBA Song because i have no idea how to contact anyone on this forum.

I have sent questions to andyharl@bluesharmonica.com but he has not answered for 9 days.

I was wondering can anyone tell me how to ask post  a question on a forum (the exact process , not "just use forum").

Also are there maybe Levels of Achievement lessons for C Harmonica because i have one of those?

Best regards,

Dusan Aleksic

Hello All, I have just checked my first step studying B.B. King style minor started in the second half of year 2019. King that is simplier in the track played in 2011, at The Royal Albert Hall with Slash. The second half of this year I practiced lot of minor play. I mathematized a lot up and down and in the middle. In a year and party my friends played B.B. continue reading...
