Hi Skip , I just finished making a extention cab and was thinking about wiring 2 jacks in series so I could run 2 cabs daisy chain style. I'm not to sure on how to do it , is it ok to use a metal jack dish?

Wiring speaker jacks

Hello Bluevan-   A metal jackplate is a good idea.   Just connect plus to plus and ground to ground on each jack.  Please use open-frame metal Switchcraft jacks and don't forget a 3/8" lockwasher for each jack.

That seems easy enough, just

That seems easy enough, just to make sure I'll be using 8 ohm speakers in each cab so total ohms is gonna be 16 ohms  correct? And use regular open circuit jacks?

Wiring speaker jacks

Bluevan-   Total impedance will be 4 ohms, not 16 ohms.   Yes, regular open-circuit jacks will be fine.
