Hi Kinya,

I have a Progressive Series Special 20 and I want to remove the cover plates. Which Wiha screwdriver do I need to buy? I have the Pozi driver that you recommend for the reed plates.

Thank you, Mike

Thank you, Kinya. I haven't played harp for a while because I didn't know much about reed gapping. Now I have some tools and your videos. I'll be playing again and I have you to thank. Mike

Additional Pozi

I also have found getting the smaller "0" size Wiha PoziDriv to be really useful. The metal on the screws used on harps is soft and easy to strip. Sometimes you'll run into a need for the smaller size. The PoziDriv "0" is the screwdriver to use on the Seydel coverplate screws. FYI PoziDriv screwdrivers only come in two sizes a "0" and a "1". The model I use is the ... they're $4.78 each.

Reeds for a Suzuki SCX 56?

I have found suppliers for whole reed plate sets for the SCX 56 but is it possible to buy individual reeds?

Suzuki reed replacements

Hi Phil, I believe replacing the entire reed plate is the only way to perform reed repairs on the Suzuki SCX56 harmonica. Did you check with Suzuki Music USA for reed availability?
