In keeping with the Wihi brand, what model slotted, such as for use on Special 20 coverplate bolts, gets the most use on your bench. Even thought the Wiha site currently has a sale on some of their screwdriver sets as well as some other tools, I didn't really want to purchase an entire set if I was just going to be using one slotted and one phillips for the majority of my needs.

Any of u other techs, feel free to jump in!

Any of you other techs that want to jump in and tell me what model of Wiha slotted you use the most, feel free.

I plan to stay with Wiha as I'm ordering the 2 pozidrives and another Phillips in the next few days.

Thanks

Those look great

Thanks for the suggestion Mike. Those look great. And it seems they have the pozidrives as well.

Looks like the perfect solution for me.

i appreciate the info.

The good and bad

One nice thing about that screwdriver is when you set it down it won't roll. The tips fit really well into the screws.

One thing that is kind of a pain is that you have to switch tools in the handle between slot and posi.

Good luck......Mike

I thought about that...but...

I thought about the switching of bits as being a small nuisance, but I tend to think it would be just that, "small", the positives you mention outweighing that small aggravation. I appreciate the follow-up information Mike.

I went ahead and purchased a Wiha slotted

i purchased a suitable slotted driver from Wiha after measuring the bolt head width on my Special 20 cover plates. I think it was 1/8" by 60 mm if I remember correctly. I also purchased the two sizes of Pozidrive and an additional Phillips.
