David,

I've been using a trial and Error method to figure out the key when I attempt to play along with artists on ITunes (I got Key of E on Big Walter's "Careless Love"?).  Is there another way to figure that out, without having perfect pitch...which I don't have.

Thanks.

Eric

Hello Eric. This is a skill

Hello Eric. This is a skill that you develop (no artist, nor student I know, has perfect pitch). It's a trial and error method that you get better at over time. Take a look at Ryan Walker's lesson (https://www.bluesharmonica.com/contributor/ryan_walker) and watch the following videos for different methods to figure out a key...

Thanks for the quick

Thanks for the quick response.  Looks like we hit it in Lesson 5, but I'll check out the link you provided.
