Hi,

I just bought Harmonica last week and since du, I can play single note, today I signed up in this website and started with:

Step 1

  • Blues Harmonica Fundamentals

This is where you learn the basics of playing the blues harmonica.

I don't understand how is that for beginners? It looks so complicated. I hope someone you guys can help me find the right course for my level in this website.

best regards.

It's OK to skip ahead

It's OK to skip ahead to where the mouth meets the harmonica.

After getting my lips wet on the harp, I found FUNDAMENTALS to make more sense...

The next section after FUNDAMENTALS is Playing the Harmonica (with subsections)

     Breathing Through the Harmonica

Playing Chords (Multiple Holes)      Playing Single Notes (Tongue Blocking)      Holding the Harmonica and Wa Wa      Hand and Throat Tremolo

Start by simply making sound

Welcome Ehsan1999! You've started what you'll find will be an amazing adventure.

From your post, I'm wondering: Is this the first musical instrument you've ever played? Have you had any experience in making music? It's possible that you haven't, in which case, don't be afraid to simply spend time making sounds with the harmonica. Experiment with it. Blow into it, then draw (inhale) and get used to the sounds it makes.

Evets has great advice. Go to the videos where David plays his harmonica, and try to play along as he instructs. There'll be plenty of time to go back and learn the mechanics and theory.

Very important: What key of harmonica did you buy? For the Blues Harmonica Fundamentals lesson David uses an A harmonica. If you bought a C harmonica and are trying to follow him, you may very well get confused. Best to start with his C harmonica intro lesson, https://www.bluesharmonica.com/lessons/c_harmonica_intro_lesson
