Hi Dave

I would like to know if you should articulate the Wa sound in combination hand movements. I have noticed that I can get some sort of Wa sound with out using hand movements. So I was wondering if combining the two is a good idea.

Thanks in advance. Also thanks for all of your previous prompt and useful replies.

Best wishes

Answer

Good morning bordercollie. Generally speaking, the goal is to only use the hands, with no articulation or mouth coloring. With that said, experiment with what works for a given passage, sometimes it's nice to add a dip along with the Wa, but I wouldn't use it as your default.
