I just got a sweet deal on a second-hand Vox AD30VT to use as a harp amp - it was tossed in for free when my husband just bought another guitar. Can anyone recommend settings to use on the Vox for harp, and anything else I should know? I've read that one should avoid using the presets...

Thanks!

I had a vox ad60 once and was ok. No problems with presets, in fact they are great, because you have to fiddle the settings just once.

basssman or champ, lots of bass, medium mid, treble to taste, little delay gives you the 50s sound. Experiment with octaver for jason ricci-ness. And as clean as possible with little echo for country style.

have fun!
